Bank of America and 2 Stocks Giving the Dow Jones a Lift

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (NYSE:DIA) is up today by 1.65% and stands at 11,851. The large stocks below are among the positive performers today.

Alcoa (NYSE:AA): A bribery scandal in Bahrain coupled with bad news from Europe and China has made Alcoa quite weak recently, so they’ve had a nice bounce back in the last couple of days. Alcoa is up 3.08%.

Bank of America (NYSE:BAC): Yesterday the bank, in a stunning turnaround, decided to drop a $5 monthly charge to debit cards holders who just want to use their cards.
