Barron Trump has a bright future ahead of him. He’s at a great advantage because he has attended top schools. It also doesn’t hurt that he’s the son of the president of the United States. Barron has plenty of resources at his disposal and connections that will help him get far. As a result, he will likely have many choices when it comes to a career.

Here’s a list of jobs we think Barron Trump might hold one day and the one job we think he’s most likely to have.

15. News anchor

This is a possibility for Barron. Plenty of first kids have gone on to have successful media careers. One former White House kid who is now a TV regular is Jenna Bush Hager. She works as a correspondent for the Today show as well as editor-at-large for Southern Living magazine. In addition, Lara Trump, Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, hosts Real News Update, a weekly webcast focused on sharing news about Donald Trump’s accomplishments.

Melania told Parenting magazine Barron has his own floor in Manhattan’s Trump Tower. She said he was in charge of decorating his space in the penthouse. Melania and Donald allowed Barron the freedom to decorate his rooms however he pleased. Although he has permission to freely decorate, Barron doesn’t like to have patterned bedsheets. He prefers sheets without designs. “He does not like covers with airplanes or cars on them. He likes clean and white,” said Melania.

Barron expressed an interest in art early on. Since his parents gave him lots of space to be creative, he took advantage of it. Melania told Parenting that Barron has pictures and art in his playroom. His creativity even boiled over to the point where began drawing on the walls. Most parents would be angry about this behavior, but Melania says she tries to encourage him. Said Melania:

When he was smaller he started drawing on the walls. His imagination is growing and important. He draws on the walls in his playroom, we can paint it over. One day he was playing bakery and he wrote Barron’s Bakery on the wall with crayons. He is very creative, if you say to a child ‘no, no, no,’ where does the creativity go?

A career in architecture could be in store for the first son. Barron also spends time putting things together. The first lady said he enjoys building large structures from Magna-Tiles and Legos.

“Sometimes we play together and build cities or airports using Magna-Tiles and Legos. He builds big projects. It is very special what he does. He has a big imagination and it’s very impressive,” said Melania in her Parenting magazine interview.

Law seems to be a favorite among former first children. For example, Jimmy Carter’s eldest son Jack Carter worked as a lawyer during the time his father was in office. He graduated from the University of Georgia law school 1975. A recent example of a first child entering law is Tiffany Trump. She began her studies at Georgetown Law in 2017.

It’s no secret that Donald Trump is a fan of golf. As a result, he’s passing his love for the game on to Barron. Melania told Parenting that Donald and Barron sometimes golf together. She also said Barron wants to be like his dad and become a businessman and a golfer.

Said Melania: “They have a beautiful relationship full of respect and love. New York is our home base, but we spend a lot of time in Mar-a-Lago [in Palm Beach, Florida]. There they play golf, spend time together, eat dinner together, and we enjoy family time.”

Barron is also a big soccer fan. In 2017 he had the opportunity to play a pickup game with D.C. United during the annual White House Easter Egg roll. Apparently, Barron knows a lot about soccer and has an interest in learning more about the game.

United forward Patrick Mullins spoke with The Washington Post about Barron’s enthusiasm and knowledge. “He was very knowledgeable about soccer, knew about D.C. United and was interested to know more. Little kid, to have a passion for the game, and to be knowledgeable and have a conversation with us, it makes me feel good about kids growing up playing the game,” said Mullins.

If Barron decides to become a teacher, he will be following the path of former first daughter Jenna Bush Hager. She worked at Elsie Whitlow Stokes Community Freedom Public Charter School in Washington, D.C. during the time her father was in office. She taught third grade. Hager received positive feedback on her teaching skills. “Being a first-year teacher is one of the hardest jobs a person can have. She was a fantastic first-year teacher,” executive director Linda R. Moore told Education Week in a 2006 interview.

Melania made sure Barron knew how to speak more than just English. As a result, he is fluent in Slovenian and is learning French. His language skills could help him land a job as an ambassador. The sky’s the limit for Barron Trump. His parents make sure to remind him he can do anything he puts his mind to. Melania told People magazine she encourages Barron to try new things. If he follows after some of the past first children, one of those new things could be activism. Lynda Bird Johnson Robb, eldest daughter of former president Lyndon Baines Johnson, chaired the President’s Advisory Committee for Women, which assisted with former president Jimmy Carter’s mission to promote gender equality.

2. President of the United States

Perhaps Barron will become president one day. Watching his father carry out his daily duties could possibly give him a desire to lead the country. If Barron does become president, he will follow in the footsteps of two sets of father-son presidents in the United States. John Adams became the second U.S. president from 1797-1801 and his son John Quincy Adams became the 6th U.S. president from 1825-1829.

Former President George H.W. Bush became the United States’ 41st president. A few years later, his son, George W. Bush became the 43rd president of the United States.

Barron might have some competition from Ivanka Trump, however. The book Fire and Fury claims the first daughter might be thinking about a presidential bid.

1. Entrepreneur

We wouldn’t be surprised if Barron decided to become an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship seems to run in the Trump family. Donald owns many businesses, including hotels, golf courses, real estate, and more, so Barron might become interested in running a business or two. Ivanka got bitten by the business bug, and launched a jewelry and fashion line, so let’s see if Barron follows suit.
