BlackBerry (NASDAQ:BBRY): MKM Partners does not view BlackBerry as a good private equity candidate, given volume and component order declines, as well as handset loses. It rates the shares at Sell with a $9 price target.
Harley-Davidson (NYSE:HOG): Citigroup says that its dealer checks indicate Harley-Davidson’s retail sales rose 8 percent-11 percent during July and that the momentum seemed to carry into August. However, the firm says that the more important catalyst will be the late August launch of Harley-Davidson’s new products. The firm keeps a Buy rating on the stock, with a $64 price target.
CubeSmart (NYSE:CUBE): UBS has upgraded CubeSmart to Neutral from Sell and the relative sector view to marketweight from underweight. The firm said second quarter industry results indicate that REITs are gaining pricing power and that the improving economic environment and strengthening housing market favor the self storage sector. The price target was raised to $18 from $14.
Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL): Raymond James views Delta as the airline to most benefit from the Justice Department’s suit against US Airways (NYSE:LCC) and AMR Corp. (AAMRQ.PK), and accordingly recommends buying Delta on today’s pullback. Delta has an Outperform rating.
