Boeing’s Dreamliner Leads Aeromexico’s Biggest Fleet Upgrade and 2 Other Dow Movers to Watch

Mexico’s No. 1 airline, Grupo Aeromexico SAB, is conducting the largest fleet upgrade in the country’s history with Boeing’s Dreamliner, according to Bloomberg. Company CEO Andres Conesa said Wednesday at Mexico City’s airport that the Boeing 787 jet will equip Aeromexico with advanced tech following years of Mexican airlines employing outdated planes. The carrier took delivery of the first plane last week and is set to receive 19 Dreamliners through 2019.

On Wednesday, Wal-Mart said was getting rid of the $5 entry fee for customers who wish to open its interest-free, pay-over-time program for holiday gifts. This action comes as the retailing behemoth says its low-income shoppers are still wary in an uncertain economy, according to The Associated Press. The holiday layaway program is set to kick off on September 13 and will last three months, until December 13. Meanwhile, Wal-Mart is bringing back its $10 cancellation fee that was eliminated last year.
General Electric Co. (NYSE:GE): Current price $23.65
GE Capital said Wednesday that it is a co-collateral agent on a $300 million, asset-based credit facility for KeHE Distributors LLC. The loan will be used to back the firm’s working capital requirements. KeHE Distributors is a mostly employee-owned firm and one of the biggest distributors of food products in North America, delivering to more than 28,000 retail outlets, according to a company release.
