According to Reuters, Bank of America Corp.’s chief Executive Officer, Brian Moynihan, sent a letter to the homes of about 270,000 employees worldwide, saying employees need to make it easier for customers to do business with the company, which has done poorly in United States customer satisfaction surveys.

According to the New York Post, who cited sources, J.C. Penney Company Inc. has decided to leave the Martha Stewart name off many products that they will feature in their new line of decor and housewares in spite of a partnership with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (NYSE:MSO), due to a pending lawsuit between their partner and Macy’s (NYSE:M).

Valero Energy Corp. reported a fourth quarter revenue of $34.7billion, and a consensus of $31.01 billion. Included in their fourth quarter results was a non cash asset impairment loss of $37 million after taxes, or 6c per share.

According to the New York Times, large biotech companies are lobbying state legislators around the country to pass laws that would limit the use of generic drugs. Amgen (NASDAQ:AMGN), Pfizer and Roche’s (RHHBY) Gentech are proposing legislation that will restrict pharmacists’ ability to substitute generic drugs for brand name products, the newspaper explained.
