The board approves a 12% increase in quarterly dividend $1.68. Share repurchase authority is expanded by 7.5 million shares to 10.2 million shares. Assets under management as at end 2012 are $3.792 trillion, up 8%. Adjusted operating margin was 42.6% for the quarter, up by 260 bps.

Fourth quarter EPS of $0.03 at Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) beats estimates by $0.01. However revenue of $18.89 billion misses consensus by $3.51 billion. Net interest margin 2.35%, with loans growing 2% quarter on quarter to $186 billion, most of that being accounted by commercial lending. Non-performing assets declined 6% to $3.8 billion compared to the previous quarter. Deposits increased to $213 billion compared to $206 billion in the September quarter. Tier 1 common capital ratio improved to 9.6% from 9.5% in September.
