Brean Murray Likes NetApp Shares, Stifel Says Buy Equinix, Deutche Bank Sells Blue Nile

NetApp, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTAP): Brean Murray raised its price target on NetApp following its in-line Q3 results. The firm cited valuation, normalized earnings growth, and the firming of its large account business. Shares are Buy rated.

Equinix, Inc. (NASDAQ:EQIX): Collins Stewart believes Equinix reported a solid quarter and outlook last night, but thinks the lack of REIT commentary could disappoint some investors. The firm raised its price target for shares and keeps a Buy rating on the stock. After Equinix reported better than expected Q4 results, Stifel Nicolaus believes the company’s outlook is favorable and the firm thinks the company is beginning to be able to return excess cash to shareholders. The firm maintains a Buy rating on the stock.

Blue Nile Inc. (NASDAQ:NILE): Deutsche Bank lowered its price target for Blue Nile shares following the company’s weaker than expected Q4 results and guidance. The firm expects Blue Nile’s investments in 2012 to pressure margins and reiterates a Sell rating on the stock.

Apache Corp. (NYSE:APA): Apache plans to spend $9.5B of drilling capital in 2012.
