RBC Bullish on Nokia to $3 and 4 Must-See Stock Analyses

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG): Oppenheimer believes that third party data indicates that Google will report strong third quarter results. The firm raised their target on the stock from $752 to $800 and maintains an Outperform rating on their shares.

Calpine Corp. (NYSE:CPN): Morgan Stanley added Calpine Corp. to their Best Ideas List based on potential catalysts that include a decision on Texas capacity as well as increases in the Southeast plant valuations. Shares are Overweight rated with a $27 price target.

Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK): RBC Capital noted that several companies, other than Nokia, are making their own Windows OS devices, creating the danger that Nokia will be relegated to having a 33% share of a third place operating system. RBC Capital expects Nokia’s handset shipments to increase by only 3% in the fourth quarter versus their second quarter and they maintain a $3 target and Sector Perform rating on their stock.

Lowe’s Companies Inc. (NYSE:LOW): Nomura is positive about efforts by Lowe’s Companies Inc. to cut selling, general & administrative expenses, to lower capex, re-merchandise and institute a massive buyback. Shares are Buy rated. Note that BofA/Merill upgraded shares this morning.

New Oriental Education & Technology Group (NYSE:EDU): Following an update to their Securities and Exchange Commission investigation, Baird raised their price target on New Oriental Education & Technology Group. The firm said the update regarding their corporate structure was encouraging and they now see a reduction of risk. Shares remain Neutral rated.
