CBS (NYSE:CBS) raked in 28 million viewers for the premiere of “Two and a Half Men”, now Sheen-less and in its ninth season. With Ashton Kutcher now at the helm, the show received a 10.3 rating in its Monday night 9 p.m. time slot.

“CBS also scored with back-to-back episodes of ‘How I Met Your Mother’, which had ratings of 4.7 and 5.1, and closed out the evening with the second-season premiere of its remake of ‘Hawaii Five-O’, according to preliminary data from Nielsen (NYSE:NLSN),’ reports MarketWatch.com. The Monday night line-up proving to be a “winning” combination against rival networks ABC (NYSE:DIS), NBC (NASDAQ:CMCSA) and FOX (NASDAQ:NWSA).

CBS’s stock (NYSE:CBS) is down 0.12% to $24.42 on the news. Shares are down 28.35% year to date. The stock has traded in a 52-week range between $14.96 and $29.68.
