Guitarist Keith Richards had his hands insured for $1.6 million reports Lloyd’s of London. (Although some reports say he had his middle finger insured.) It looks like hand insurance was a good idea. The musician’s playing days could soon be over. Back in 2012, Daily Mail reported Richards had gotten to a point where his fingers are swollen, and he can’t remember the Rolling Stones’ songs.

This way, if he is ever in a position where he can’t sing anymore, he doesn’t have to worry too much about paying the bills.

Dolly Parton had her breasts insured for $600,000 ($300,000 each), reports ABC News. The country singer is known for her large bust, so this isn’t much of a surprise. In 2013, rumors swirled about another star having her breasts insured. However, it turned out to be a joke. Jennifer Love Hewitt once joked she was going to have her breasts insured for $5 million.

In 2011, former Playboy Playmate Holly Madison took a page out of Dolly Parton’s book. She had her breasts insured for $1 million. She told People she decided to have them insured so she could protect herself and other people who appeared in her Las Vegas production Peepshow. “…If anything happened to my boobs, I’d be out for a few months and I’d probably be out a million dollars. I thought I’d cover my assets,” she told the magazine.

In 2004, supermodel Heidi Klum insured her legs for $2 million. Although both of her legs look perfect, she has a slight imperfection. According to Vogue, Klum told Showbiz Spy her left leg is worth less than her right leg because it has a scar caused by an accident during which she fell on glass.
“Basically, I was in London, and I had to go to this place where they check out your legs. They would look at them and I had one scar here from when I fell on a glass, so this [left leg] isn’t as pricey and this [right] one,” she told the publication.

Apparently, she thinks her rear end is an essential part of her performances. Another star who is rumored to have had her backside insured is Jennifer Lopez. Some reports say she insured her buttocks for $27 million. However, Lopez later denied the rumor.
