Chevron Secures $10 Billion Deal With Ukraine and 2 Other Dow Movers to Watch

On Wednesday, the government of Ukraine announced that it will sign a $10-billion shale gas production-sharing accord with Chevron next week, representing its second such deal in 2013. Ecology Minister Oleh Proskuryakov said that the arrangement for exploration and extraction at the Olesska site in western Ukraine, which comes after one signed with Royal Dutch Shell earlier this year, would be finalized next Tuesday at a regional economic forum in Kiev.


JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM): Current price $52.85

The research firm J.D. Power said on Wednesday that JPMorgan has ranked first in a small business customer satisfaction survey in three of four regions of the United States, showing a sharp improvement from its 20th place nationally in 2011. The big bank raised its ranking via changes to its customer service, which had been previously slow to mend problems. For one thing, clients disliked having to work with a different staff member each time they called the bank, so JPMorgan assigned relationship managers to many customers, affording them a single point of contact, according to Chief Executive Scott Geller for its small business division.
