General Motors Company (NYSE:GM): According to the Detroit News, the 2013 Chevrolet Volt will raise its all-electric range from 25 miles to 38 miles. The new model will be the same price as the 2012 model, starting at $39,995. GM’s Opel unit also intends to sell 30K cars in China. This sales target is low, but it creates a channel for the European company that struggles to procure buyers on its own continent.
