The S&P 500 (NYSE:SPY) is up today by 1.64% and stands at 1,235. Here are three well-performing stocks.

Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE:CMG): The Q3 report was nothing short of fantastic. Motley Fool’s Rick Aristotle Munarriz argues that Chipolte’s projections may still be conservative, as the company projects a single-digit sales increase even though it came in at 11.3% this year after making the same projection lat year. Chipolte intends to open about 16 restaurants in the next year. The stock is up 6.64%.

SanDisk (NASDAQ:SNDK): Sandisk beat earnings estimates but fell short on revenues. Sandisk’s margins remain quite good. The stock is up 7.89%.

Altera (NASDAQ:ALTR): The stock rise is a consequence of investors attributing the weak earnings to inventory problems rather than customer demand, which remains strong. Alter is up 11.29%.
