The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) has agreed to a long-term global clean water partnership with DEKA R&D so as to bring DEKA President Dean Kamen’s Slingshot tech to communities in which potable water access is limited. Additionally, Coco-Cola and DEKA R&D will collaborate with Inter-American Development Bank Group and Africare to bring the technology to communities in rural parts of Latin America and Africa, respectively, and the parties are actively working to establish partnerships with leading non-governmental organizations and development banks to help pay for the projects, identify locations and support placement and on-the-ground support efforts moving forward.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) and the worldwide professional services firm Towers Watson & Co. (NYSE:TW) have expanded their alliance in order to adapt some of the latter’s software applications for the Windows Azure platform. As part of the enlarged relationship, Towers Watson has been cooperating on a close basis with Microsoft’s tech centers through which to develop new processes for its risk-based modeling applications and solutions to take advantage the flexibility offered by cloud computing.
AT&T, Inc. (NYSE:T) has announced the availability of AT&T Mobile Security, which is a new solution for businesses and organizations that reinforces the company’s portfolio for mobile security and mobile enterprise management, while including application protection, mobile device management capabilities, device-level security, network-based security controls, along with encrypted transport. The solution will be available across carriers and for multiple mobile operating systems.
United Technologies Corporation (NYSE:UTX): The multinational aero engine consortium IAE International Aero Engines AG reports that the V2500 is powering the 100th A320 family aircraft assembled at the Airbus A320 Family Final Assembly Line in China. The aircraft was delivered to Air China on Tuesday at an aircraft delivery ceremony which took place in Tianjin, and brings the total number of V-powered Tianjin A320 family aircraft to 53. IAE is a multinational aero engine consortium whose shareholders include Whitney Aero Engines International GmbH, Pratt & Whitney, and Japanese Aero Engines and MTU Aero Engines.
