The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) was notified by the FBI back in March 2009, that their systems had been compromised by hackers, and that subsequently sensitive data linked to an attempted (but failed) $2.4 billion purchase of China Huiyuan Juice was stolen, according to Bloomberg, citing inside sources and documents. The company has never conceded the security breach nor the theft of the information.
