Coinstar, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSTR): According to the Los Angeles Times, Although Disney (NYSE:DIS) refuses to sell its DVDs to rental outlets for at least 28 days post launch to outlets such as Redbox, Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) and Blockbuster (NASDAQ:DISH), a Redbox spokeswoman claims that Redbox intends to use a similar type of alternating sourcing strategy as it did with Warner Bros. (NYSE:TWX) for Disney’s release of John Carter.
News Corp. (NASDAQ:NWSA): Reuters reports that for the upcoming year, Sky Italia, part of News Corp, has purchased the Italian live right to Formula One races.
