Comcast Refutes Legal Threat Towards TorrentFreak and 2 More Heavily Traded Stocks to Follow

A Comcast spokesperson by email says that its legal threat towards TorrentFreak was an error and that it has told the file-sharing news site to disregard it, saying that, “This notice was sent in error, and we have advised TorrentFreak to disregard it. We apologize for any confusion.”
A dispute over the legal notice ignited Wednesday morning when TorrentFreak reported that a “brand protection company” had sent it a menacing cease-and-desist letter, directing the site to remove a fax connected with an ongoing court case. The threat seemed to be based on no legitimate grounds, as court documents are a matter of public record and are typically not subject to copyright protection.

Service Lane contributes to the success of the SiriusXM Pre-Owned Vehicle program, which has exceeded 10,000 participating dealers spanning the United States, and includes most of the nation’s largest franchise dealer groups. Now, SiriusXM and participating dealerships may reach many additional satellite equipped vehicle owners who otherwise might not have had the chance to fully experience a SiriusXM trial subscription.
