Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has introduced the latest version of its YouTube application for the iPhone and iPod Touch, which will contain thousands more videos along with advertising for the first time. The package will not come pre-installed on Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) products, however. Additionally, Google reports that mobile devices comprise 1 billion video views per day.
Nordstrom Inc. (NYSE:JWN) has debuted British brands Topshop and Topman at select stores across the United States, and via online channels. The firm has quietly been replacing old Sears stores at malls nationwide, and in some places directly challenging J.C. Penney & Co. (NYSE:JCP).
Barnes & Noble Inc. (NYSE:BKS) will launch a new Nook tablet during a press conference set for later in September, say reemerged rumors. The bookseller is said to be expecting a boost by employing Windows 8 on the new 7-inch tablet.
