Cowen Buyers of Broadcom Stock, McGraw-Hill Price Target Upped, Apple TV a Catalyst for Rovi

Broadcom Corp.(NASDAQ:BRCM): Cowen said they would be buyers of Broadcom at these levels following its better than expected Q4 results. The firm cited its best-in-class performance, potential for market share gains in mobile and wireless, and potential for improved gross margins. Shares are Outperform rated.

The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc.(NYSE:MHP): Piper Jaffray believes McGraw-Hill reported impressive Q4 results and sees potential upside in the stock to $53-$69. The firm upped its price target for shares and keeps an Overweight rating on the stock.

Fortinet Inc.(NASDAQ:FTNT): After Fortinet reported stronger than expected Q4 results, Stifel Nicolaus believes the company’s strong top line trends should allay any concerns about the company’s growth. The firm maintains a $32 target and reiterates a Buy rating.

Rovi Corporation(NASDAQ:ROVI): Piper Jaffray believes the launch of an Apple Television (NASDAQ:AAPL) could be a catalyst for Rovi as it could increase royalty payments from Apple to Rovi for IPG patents and cause others in the space to improve their content integration on connected TVs. The firm keeps an Overweight rating on Rovi shares.

Helmerich & Payne Inc.(NYSE:HP): Helmerich & Payne price target raised to $83 from $74 at Pritchard.
