Bemis announced that its Board of Directors has approved a 4% increase in the quarterly cash dividend, increasing it to 26c per share compared to the previous quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share. The cash dividend is payable on March 1 to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 19. This marks the 30th consecutive year that the Company has increased its dividend payment. Bemis has been paying an annual dividend on its stock since 1922 and has been included in Standard & Poor’s list of Dividend Aristocrats since 2008.

The Federal Agricultural Mortgage announced that it has increased the quarterly dividend paid on the Corporation’s common stock by 20% from the previous quarter. Farmer Mac’s board of directors has declared a Q1 dividend of 12c per share on each of the Corporation’s three classes of common stock. The quarterly dividend for Q1 will be payable on March 29 to holders of record of common stock as of March 15. Farmer Mac’s board of directors has also declared a quarterly dividend on the Corporation’s Series A Non-Cumulative Preferred Stock. The quarterly dividend of 36.72c per share of Series A Non-Cumulative Preferred Stock is for the period from but not including January 17 to and including April 17, and shall be payable on April 17 to holders of record of preferred stock as of April 2.

Commerce Bancshares announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of 22.5c per share on the company’s common stock, which compares to the regular prior dividend of 21.9c as adjusted for the 5% stock dividend that was paid on December 17, 2012. This represents an increase in the quarterly dividend per share of 2.7% and marks the 45th consecutive year that the company has increased its regular cash dividend per share. The dividend is payable on March 25 to stockholders of record at the close of business on March 6.
