Dividend Changes to Know Now: Spectra Energy Partners, Stepan, Tennant, Penn Virginia Resource Partners, Dr Pepper Snapple Group
Spectra Energy Partners, LP (NYSE:SEP): Spectra Energy Partners increase quarterly cash dividend to 49c per share. Spectra Energy Partners announced that the board of its general partner declared a quarterly cash distribution to unitholders of 49c per unit, an increase of one-half cent over the previous level of 48.5c per unit. This is the 20th consecutive quarter that Spectra Energy Partners has increased its quarterly cash distribution. The cash distribution is payable on November 14, to unitholders of record at the close of business on November 6. This quarterly cash distribution equates to $1.96 per unit on an annual basis.
Stepan Company (NYSE:SCL): Stepan Company increases annual dividend by 14% to $1.28. The board also declared a two-for-pone stock split on its common stock in the form of a 100% stock dividend. The annual dividend rate after the split will be 64c per common share.

Tennant Co. (NYSE:TNC): Tennant increases quarterly dividend 6% to 18c per share. The dividend is payable on December 14, 2012, to shareholders of record on November 30, 2012.
Penn Virginia Resource Partners LP (NYSE:PVR): Penn Virginia Resource Partners increases quarterly dividend to 54c from 53c. The dividend of 54c per unit payable in cash on November 14 to common unitholders of record at the close of business on November 7.
Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. (NYSE:DPS): Dr Pepper Snapple says has ability to raise dividend over time.
