On Thursday, EBay Enterprise said that it has signed a multiyear accord with Fifth & Pacific Cos. Inc. (NYSE:FNP), which is the designer and marketer of a portfolio of premium, worldwide lifestyle brands. The company will supply fulfillment, warehouse and order management systems, freight, payments, and customer service solutions for Kate Spade Saturday, Kate Spade New York, Jack Spade, and Lucky Brand in the United States and Canada.
Senior Vice President, Global IT and Operations, Fifth & Pacific Linda Yanussi, commented that, “EBay Enterprise enables us to harness the capabilities to drive transactions from stores to online and online to stores, and provides solutions that allow us to have late order cutoffs, faster delivery to our customers, and the scale and flexibility to provide that premium brand experience.”
Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU): Current price $19.79
Micron Technology shares are up by around 5 percent Thursday in heavy volume, after they were said to be recommended as long idea by David Einhorn, according to Bloomberg. Einhorn is speaking Thursday at the Robin Hood Investor Conference. However, in his most recent quarterly filing, there was no position in Micron reported as of September 30.
General Electric Co. (NYSE:GE): Current price $26.89
General Electric has won 545 megawatts of orders for wind turbines in Brazil’s A-3 auction, which was conducted on November 18. The total amount of energy auctioned came to 867 megawatts, and General Electric obtained 63 percent of the auction capacity. General Electric will supply 1.7-100 and 1.85-82.5 turbines for wind farms developed by Contour Global, Casa dos Ventos, Eletrosul, CEEE, PEC, Rio Energy and Chesf in the Brazilian states of Rio Grande do Sul, Bahia, and Piauí. Besides that, General Electric will service the wind turbines for a 10-year period as part of an operations and maintenance arrangement that includes an availability guarantee for the 26 wind farms.
