Facebook Debuts New Graph Search and 2 Other Hot Stocks To Watch
Facebook (NASDAQ:FB): Current price $24.73
Facebook announced Graph Search in January, but the feature was only available to certain users for testing; beginning Monday, the product is open to all users. Facebook says Graph Search is complete and will be open to all users in the coming weeks. The product replaces the old Facebook search bar with one that permits users to look up a large variety of information in regards to connections. Additionally, it facilitates looking up photos. At the moment, the tool only works on the Web version of Facebook but will eventually apply to mobile apps.
Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC): Current price $23.14
Shares of ClickSoftware Technologies are down more than 9 percent in late Monday morning trading after the workforce-management software provider posted preliminary second-quarter results that cited “lower than expected” gains in revenue, blaming that on a faster-than-anticipated shift to software-as-a-service sales. Accordingly, Intel shares are down by more that 3 percent., and its second-quarter earnings outlook was lowered to 38 cents a share from 39 cents by Citi. Analyst Glen Yeung said PC data points are tracking worse than had been expected.
Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL): Current price $13.41
A recent Gartner report says that Dell is the top provider of health care information tech services worldwide. The ranking is based on 2012 revenue and represents the third straight year that Dell has attained the No. 1 spot for health care services. For 20 years, Dell has led health care IT, supplying broad capabilities that include cloud clinical archiving, electronic medical records, cloud and disaster recovery services, mobility solutions, and tools in support of personalized medicine.
