On Tuesday, the publicly-traded venture capital fund Firsthand Technology Value Fund, Inc., which invests in tech and cleantech firms, disclosed that its top positions as of September 30 were Facebook, Twitter, AliphCom, Sunrun, Pivotal Systems, QMAT, and Wrightspeed. The Fund’s investment in Facebook was comprised of 600,000 shares of common stock and represented around 13.4 percent of the Fund’s gross assets. Meanwhile, Facebook shares are down about 4 percent in heavy morning trading on Tuesday.

Finland – HERE, a Nokia business, announced Tuesday that Mitsubishi Motors North America has introduced HERE Traffic, including real-time data on traffic and weather, and is the first to offer updates on fuel prices delivered by HD Radio tech for drivers in the United States. The service ventures beyond the usual highway network, supplying information on four times more roads than do comparable products. By employing HD tech, updates on real-time conditions delivered to the driver are ten times faster than the standard speed available in the market.
