Ford Inks Deal With Rhapsody and 3 Auto Stocks Making Headlines Now

Ford Motor Company has joined hands with Rhapsody International Inc. to offer music service for more than one million Lincoln and Ford vehicles. This is the first time that Rhapsody has made a deal with any auto-maker.

General Motors Company (NYSE:GM):  Current price $28.64

Fuel Systems Solutions (NASDAQ:FSYS) received a Ship to Commerce decision from General Motors Company to start deliveries of bi-fuel pickup trucks that were converted in their Union City, Indiana OEM conversion center using Fuel Systems’ natural gas components. GM’s Fleet and Commercial department sent the bi-fuel pickups to their dealer network according to orders status. Fuel Systems has received from GM a new 2013 contract that expands the CNG product offering for this year which will include both the regular and extended wheelbase lengths for the Express and Savana Cargo Vans.

Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM): Current price $94.78

According to the Nikkei, Toyota Motor Corporation is close to an agreement with BMW in which they will provide the automaker with drive train and hydrogen storage technology for fuel cell cars.

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (NYSE:HMC):  Current price $37.23

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. will voluntarily recall approximately 748,000 model-year 2009-2013 Pilot and 2011-2013 Odyssey vehicles in the United States to inspect and, if necessary, replace the driver’s-side airbag. Driver’s-side airbags in these vehicles were potentially assembled without some of the rivets that secure the airbag’s plastic cover. If the rivets are missing, the airbag may not deploy properly, increasing the risk of injury in a crash. No crashes or injuries related to this issue have been reported .
