Ford Recalls 465,000 Vehicles For Fuel Leakage and 2 Other Hot Stocks to Watch

The historic automaker has recalled some 465,000 vehicles worldwide to repair fuel leakage. Models involved include 2013 Explorer, Ford Fusion, Flex, Taurus, Interceptor Sedan and Interceptor Utility, along with the 2013 Lincoln MKZ, MKS and MKT. These vehicles will be examined for fuel tank leaks, which could lead to fires, but so far, there have been no accidents or injuries reported die to fuel tank leakage. Additionally, Ford has recalled some of the 2013 Fusions to repair the steering gears, which have no internal retaining clip.

On Tuesday, Intel announced that the new Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 10.1-inch is powered by the Intel Atom Z2560 processor (Clover Trail+). Further, the new Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 10.1-inch tablet will be equipped with Intel’sXMM 6262 3G modem solution or Intel’s XMM 7160 4G LTE solution. Hermann Eul, Intel vice president and general manager, Mobile and Communications Group, said that “Customers are selecting Intel technology because it offers the best balance of high performance, power efficiency and battery life. It’s ultimately about the consumer experience, and we are confident people will be pleased with what Intel Inside has to offer.”

Wednesday is the ex-dividend date for Bank of America. Owners of shares as of market close Tuesday will be eligible for a one-cent per share dividend. At a price of $13.54 as of 9:31 a.m. Eastern Time, the dividend yield stood at 0.3 percent. Bank of America has a market cap of $147.26 billion and forms part of the financial sector and banking industry. Shares were up by 17.7 percent thus far in 2013 as of the close on Monday.
