Ford has announced that its Focus compact once again hit the number-one global sales rank through the first half of 2013, while sales more than doubled in China. The iconic automaker, pointing at data from researcher R.L. Polk & Co., said that worldwide Focus registrations jumped by 20 percent in the first six months to 589,709. Focus sales in China soared by 137 percent during the period to 202,380.

Sirius and American Honda Motor Co. have extended their relationship to January 2020, meaningfully boosting the penetration of SiriusXM factory-installed tech into new Honda and Acura vehicles. Beginning next year, American Honda will steadily move up the penetration of SiriusXM across its entire vehicle lineup. The company will expand SiriusXM as factory-installed equipment on its best-selling models, including the Accord, Civic, CR-V and Pilot, as well as add SiriusXM to the Fit, CR-Z and Insight. Beyond that, SiriusXM will become standard equipment on the Acura ILX.
