GM to Integrate Apple’s Siri and 4 Hot Stocks Make Market Waves
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): General Motors (NYSE:GM) has intentions to add Apple’s Siri personal assistant feature to three of its vehicles early next year, and it is expected to announce the news today, according to the Detroit News. Siri is to be integrated in the 1LT and 2LT versions of the Chevrolet Spark mini car, the 2014 Spark Electric Vehicle, and LTZ and RS models of the 2014 Chevy Sonic subcompact cars.
Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ:FB): Tajikistan’s Office of Telecommunications ordered all mobile carriers and ISPs in the country to block access to Facebook, according to The Next Web. Beg Zuhurov, who is the head of the office, hast stated, “I received many calls from citizens of Tajikistan, asking me to shut down this Facebook as a hotbed of slander.”

AT&T, Inc. (NYSE:T): Time Warner Cable Media, which is the advertising sales division of Time Warner Cable, intends to enhance its AT&T AdWorks agreement for the 2013 broadcast year. Furthermore, Time Warner Cable Media intends to incorporate AT&T U-verse TV homes into the company’s existing fixed scheduling network grids platform. The expanded agreement is to provide advertisers and marketers an easier option for buying, managing, and delivering media campaigns to customers on 50 networks in 15 top markets, including San Antonio.
Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) is now attempting to help people discover the world around them via its new mapping technology. The Finnish handset maker claims to be the largest mapping company in the world, and it has maps for over 190 countries and more than 100 of the maps are able to be navigated. Additionally, the company gets one billion search queries annually, and it intends to deliver its maps and location services across more screens and operating systems, meaning beyond cars and beyond Nokia devices. Also, Nokia launched a maps app for Apple devices and this is available for free on iTunes. The app is compatible with devices that run on iOS 4.3 or later versions. The map feature will include offline capabilities, voice-guided walk navigation, and public transport directions.
