Google Remains King of the Video Web

According to comSore (NASDAQ:SCOR) data, Google Inc.’s (NASDAQ:GOOG) websites maintained their top spots in October’s U.S. online video rankings. Google’s YouTube led the company’s sites to reach 161 million unique viewers in October, with a record-high 20.9 billion videos viewed.

Facebook.com followed as the second highest with 59.8 million viewers while Vevo (VIVHY), the music video site, rounded out the top three with 57 million viewers.

Not to be excluded from October’s numbers was Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) in the fourth spot with 49 million viewers and Viacom Inc.’s (NYSE:VIAB) Viacom Digital came in at No. 5 with 48.2 million viewers.

The rest of the top 10 included sites by Yahoo Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO), AOL Inc. (NYSE:AOL), NBC Universal (NASDAQ:CMCSA), Hulu (NYSE:DIS) (NASDAQ:NWSA) and Turner Digital (NYSE:TWX).
