For $30 a year, Groupon VIP members will have early access to deals, as well as the opportunity to purchase old deals and to obtain refunds for Groupons at any time. According to Business Insider, the company is currently testing this service, geared toward “Groupon-addict,” in a “handful” of marketplaces.

Whether VIP is rolled out nationwide will depend on whether the service gets a positive response in testing markets where, for three months, Groupon’s “best customers” will get a free trial.
