Momenta Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:MNTA) will replace HealthSpring (NYSE:HS) according to S&P 500 in its SmallCap 600 index, in a move that will become effective on January 31.

GTx (NASDAQ:GTXI) shares hit the ceiling and keep on rising over 23% after Citigroup (NYSE:C) raises its price target on shares to $19 from $8 on takeover potential. Analysts predict that a successful trial of the firm’s Ostarine drug will help it to attract suitors.

Express Scripts’ (NASDAQ:ESRX) Pharmacy benefit manager will soon raise out-of-pocket costs for customers using Pfizer’s (NYSE:PFE) cholesterol-lowering drug Lipitor, following the introduction of generic versions last year.

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) is recalling 2,200 tubes of Aveeno-brand baby lotion that could contain too much Staphylococcus, from retailers in the southeastern United States. Staphylococci are a type of bacteria often found on the skin. The company notes the recall is precautionary and limited to a small amount of product.

Amylin Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:AMLN) jumps after the Food and Drug and Administration approved Bydureon. Bydureon is a weekly treatment for diabetes. Alkermes (NASDAQ:ALKS), its partner on the drug, is also up on heavy volume.
