Hot After Hours Stock Movers on February 9th

US Markets were choppy and closed lower today as fears of a pullback continue haunting investors. Here are today’s after hours most active:

1) Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO): Shares of the networking giant are down $1.91 or 8.67% after reporting fiscal Q2 earnings that dropped for the fourth quarter in a row. However, revenue growth and adjusted earnings did meet with Cisco’s estimates.

2) Whole Foods Market Inc. (NASDAQ:WFMI): Shares of the natural and organic foods supermarket jumped $4.34 or 8.07% after reporting stellar fiscal Q1 profit that soared 61%. The increase in earnings came from new locations as well and same-store sales growth. Also, supermarket raised guidance for 2011.

3) Akamai Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:AKAM): Shares of the provider of content and applications over the internet sunk $5.49 or 11.44% after disappointing investors with their Q4 earnings report. Profit rose a modest 31% for this growth company, clearly not enough for investors.

4) Activision Blizzard Inc (NYSE:ATVI): Shares of the game publisher are down $0.85 or 7.27% after reporting a smaller Q4 loss. The company also presented guidance not up to par with investor expectations and announced that discontinuation of development on Guitar Hero & True Crime.
