US Markets looked clear to move higher at the open but were aggressively brought down as the battle for S&P 1300 & Dow 12000 continues. Here are some of the after-hours movers:
1) ADA-ES Inc. (NASDAQ:ADES): Shares are down $0.56, or 4.70%, to $11.35 after filing with the SEC an offer to sell as much as $140 million of its holdings.
2) Ford Motor Comp. (NYSE:F): Shares are up 0.61% or $0.10 after Fitch Ratings upgraded them on report of lower debt and stronger financial operations. This was a small shadow as compared to the 13.41% drop it had intraday.
3) Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN): Shares are down a moderate $0.04 or 0.02% after-hours after falling short of analyst estimates yesterday. A move higher was priced-in by investors.
4) Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ): Shares are up $0.03 or 0.08% on after announcing that it is planning on buying Terremark Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ:TMRK) for $1.4 billion as it look to get into the currently hot cloud industry.
