Here’s How Much First Lady Melania Trump Spends on Her Clothing

The first lady chooses to step out into the public eye wearing pieces that are seemingly well put together. In fact, every first lady in the history of our country has been under scrutiny of the public when it comes to her wardrobe decisions. First lady Melania Trump is no exception to this rule.

The heated presidential election of 2016 certainly made a splash within the fashion industry — so much that fashion designers were split on whether they would even work with the Trumps. Some designers have faced boycotts if the first lady is seen in their designs.

Trump’s career as a fashion model laid the groundwork for how she has chosen to present herself in her new role at the White House. Much of her style echoes that of European vibrations. Often spotted wearing the likes of couture designers Dior, Dolce and Gabbana, and Givenchy, the Slovenian-born beauty has caused a stir with the price tag of her designer frocks. Here are 15 of her most expensive pieces.
