A Barnes & Noble (NYSE:BKS) subsidiary reaches licensing partnerships with content providers such as NBCUniversal and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment for the NOOK Video, enabling the latter to deliver a comprehensive catalogue of standard and HD movies and TV shows onto Nook tablets. Said Mike Dunn, President, Worldwide, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment: “The ability to access digital HD movies from Fox through NOOK Video complements our existing strategy of delivering the best entertainment experience to consumers and to enrich digital ownership.”
A report in ChinaDaily says Marriott (NYSE:MAR) expects to double its presence in the Asia-Pacific region over the next few years, while in China, it plans to open one hotel every month on average for the next five years, covering both the primary and secondary cities in the country.
