Kla-Tencor Corp. (NASDAQ:KLAC): Sees Q3 revenue $770M-$830M vs. consensus $684.04M. Sees Q3 new orders $825M-$975M. Guidance taken from company’s Q2 earnings conference call. The shares closed at $52.33, up $2.07 or 4.12% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $33.20 to $52.11.

Parametric Technolog (NASDAQ:PMTC): Stifel Nicolaus increased its target on Parametric after the company reported Q1 results that the firm views as strong. The firm believes that the company’s outlook is improving, and it maintains a Buy rating. The shares closed at $25.80, up $0.16 or 0.62% on the day.
