JPMorgan Downgraded by Dick Bove at Rafferty Capital and 2 Other Dow Movers to Watch

Adverse headline risks have prompted analyst Dick Bove at Rafferty Capital Markets to downgrade JPMorgan shares from Buy to Hold. The JPMorgan bull says that investments in JPMorgan will probably be “dead money” in the near term while headline risks from government and regulatory investigations go on. The megabank faces six separate inquiries from the U.S. Department of Justice, four by the Securities and Exchange Commission, and three by the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, according to its latest filing.


3M Co. (NYSE:MMM): Current price $114.99

The No. 1 health care system in the midlands of South Carolina, Palmetto Health, has chosen the 3M 360 Encompass System through which to integrate and automate medical records coding, clinical documentation improvement, and performance monitoring spanning its four acute-care hospitals, according to a press release. The advanced tech from 3M Health Information Systems will assist Palmetto Health in increasing its coder productivity and achieve complete physician documentation.


Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE:PG): Current price $79.15

Proctor & Gamble is working jointly with Habitat for Humanity on a worldwide scale to fund the construction, repair, and cleaning of homes in 12 different nations, the companies said in a statement. This year, nearly 3,000 P&G employees will volunteer their time alongside Habitat partner families in the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, Poland, Costa Rica, and a number of other countries around the globe.
