JPMorgan Said To Have Cleared Ian Hannum and 2 Other Dow Movers To Watch

Prior to the United Kingdom’s finance regulator penalizing him for disclosing inside information, Ian Hannam, formerly one of JPMorgan’s top merger advisers, said the bank cleared him in an internal inquiry, saying, “JPMorgan believed that I had not done market abuse” in a London court Wednesday, where he is fighting a $687,000 fine. A proposed civil market-abuse fine against Hannam by the Financial Conduct Authority is based on two email messages. Hannam said the notes were in the best interest of his client, Heritage Oil, and is challenging the sanction at a court hearing at the Upper Tribunal in London that began Tuesday.
United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX): Closing price $94.66
United Technologies subsidiary Pratt & Whitney and SkyWest have reached an accord for a PureSolutio Fleet Management Program in support of the PW1217G engines installed in a fleet of 100 MRJ90 Mitsubishi Regional Jets, as well as up to an additional 100 option MRJ90 Mitsubishi Regional Jets for a term of as many as 16 years. Each MRJ90 will be driven by two PurePower PW1217G engines. Deliveries should start in 2017.
Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO): Closing price $24.58
Cisco reports Diamlemos Shipping Corp. will implement a unique telecommunications solution specifically created for the shipping industry: SmartBox-V. The solution is an integrated bundle of software and quality services from Setel operating on a Cisco blade server hosted within a Cisco modular 2900 series router, permitting Diamlemos to lower the complexity of on-vessel communications equipment. SmartBox-V will facilitate and optimize the vessel’s communications, decrease costs of managing the equipment, and offer a comprehensive set of crew welfare applications.
