Wall St. Watchdog generated a special screen for profitable large cap companies in the Energy sector.  The criteria for the screen are:

  • The company trades on an American exchange.  (This includes foreign-domiciled companies whose stocks trade in the form of ADRs on American exchanges.)
  • The company does not trade on the pink sheets.
  • The company is not located in China (Hong Kong is OK).
  • The company’s market capitalization is at least $50 billion
  • Earnings per share based on average diluted shares outstanding over the past 10 years is greater than $0.01.

Following are the companies in the Energy sector that meet these criteria:

  • CNOOC Limited (ADR) (NYSE:CEO): This company operates in the Energy sector. Its market capitalization is $102,500,000,000.
