Large Cap Stocks Recording 52-Week Price Highs As Dow Achieves 11,900 and S&P Above 1,250

Wall St. Watchdog reveals information about 34 stocks that hit 52-week highs in today’s trading. Note that this list excludes all stocks with a market capitalization less than $10 billion:

  1. Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC): Up 2.33% to $24.59. Intel Corporation designs, manufactures, and sells computer components and related products. The Company’s major products include microprocessors, chipsets, embedded processors and microcontrollers, flash memory products, graphics products, network and communications products, systems management software, conferencing products, and digital imaging products.
  2. Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ): Down 1.31% to $36.93. Verizon Communications Inc. is an integrated telecommunications company that provides wire line voice and data services, wireless services, Internet services, and published directory information. The Company also provides network services for the federal government including business phone lines, data services, telecommunications equipment and payphones.
  3. Diageo plc (NYSE:DEO): Up 1.04% to $85.61. Diageo plc produces, distills and markets alcoholic beverages. The Company’s premium drinks brands include Smirnoff, J&B, Johnnie Walker, Jose Cuervo, Seagrams, Captain Morgan, Tanqueray, Baileys, Harp, and Guinness Stout.
  4. Nike Inc. (NYSE:NKE): Up 0.76% to $95.07. NIKE, Inc. designs, develops, and markets athletic footwear, apparel, equipment, and accessory products for men, women, and children. The Company sells its products worldwide to retail stores, through its own stores, subsidiaries, and distributors.
  5. Southern Company (NYSE:SO): Down 1.27% to $43.38. Southern Company is a public utility holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, generates, wholesales, and retails electricity in the southeastern United States. The Company also offers wireless telecommunications services, and provides businesses with two-way radio, telephone, paging, and Internet access services as well as wholesales fiber optic solutions.
  6. Simon Property Group Inc. (NYSE:SPG): Up 1.8% to $122.87. Simon Property Group, Inc. is a self-administered and self-managed, real estate investment trust. The Company owns, develops, and manages retail real estate properties including regional malls, outlet centers, community/lifestyle centers, and international properties.
  7. Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX): Up 1.07% to $42.54. Starbucks Corporation retails, roasts, and provides its own brand of specialty coffee. The Company operates retail locations worldwide and sells whole bean coffees through its sales group, direct response business, supermarkets, and on the World Wide Web. Starbucks also produces and sells bottled coffee drinks and a line of ice creams.
  8. Celgene Corporation (NASDAQ:CELG): Up 1.39% to $67.86. Celgene Corporation is a global biopharmaceutical company. The Company focuses on the discovery, development, and commercialization of therapies designed to treat cancer and immune-inflammatory related diseases.
  9. Enbridge Inc. (NYSE:ENB): Up 0.11% to $35.04. Enbridge Inc. provides energy transportation, distribution, and related services in North America and internationally. The Company operates a crude oil and liquids pipeline system, is involved in international energy projects, and is involved in natural gas transmission and midstream businesses. Enbridge also distributes natural gas and electricity, and provides retail energy products.
  10. Allergan Inc. (NYSE:AGN): Up 0.71% to $89.01. Allergan, Inc. is a multi-specialty health care company that discovers, develops and commercializes pharmaceuticals, biologics and medical devices. The Company develops products for the ophthalmic, neurological, medical aesthetics, medical dermatology, breast aesthetics, obesity intervention, urological and other specialty markets in countries around the world.
  11. Biogen Idec Inc. (NASDAQ:BIIB): Up 0.62% to $109.52. Biogen Idec Inc. develops, manufactures, and commercializes therapies, focusing on neurology, oncology, and immunology. The Company’s products addresses diseases such as multiple sclerosis, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, rheumatoid arthritis, crohn’s disease, and psoriasis.
  12. Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP (NYSE:KMP): Up 0.75% to $77.06. Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P., is a pipeline transportation and energy storage company. The Company operates pipelines and terminals. The pipelines transport natural gas, gasoline, crude oil, carbon dioxide and other products; and its terminals store petroleum products and chemicals, and handle bulk materials like coal and petroleum coke.

The Company operates off-price retail concepts in the U.S., Canada and Europe that offer a wide range of brand name and designer merchandise.
  15. American Tower Corp. (NYSE:AMT): Up 1.6% to $57.24. American Tower Corporation owns, operates, and develops wireless communications and broadcast towers in the United States. The Company leases antennae sites on multi-tenant towers for a diverse range of wireless communications industries, including personal communications services, paging, and cellular. American Tower also offers a variety of network development services.

Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile SA produces and markets specialty fertilizers including potassium nitrate, sodium nitrate, and potassium sulfate for the agricultural industry. The Company also produces industrial chemicals, iodine and lithium. SQM markets its products in over 100 countries.
  24. V.F. Corporation (NYSE:VFC): Up 3.24% to $136.99. VF Corporation is an international apparel company. The Company owns a broad portfolio of brands in the jeanswear, outerwear, packs, footwear, sportswear and occupational apparel categories. VF Corp’s products are marketed to consumers shopping in specialty stores, upscale and traditional department stores, national chains and mass merchants.
  25. Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. (NYSE:RL): Up 4.52% to $157.55. Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation designs, markets, and distributes men’s, women’s and children’s apparel, accessories, fragrances, and home furnishings. The Company’s products are sold under a wide range of brands. Polo’s operations include Wholesale, Retail and Licensing.
  26. iShares iBoxx $ Invest Grade Corp Bond (NYSE:LQD): Up 0.51% to $113.54. iShares iBoxx $ Investment Grade Corporate Bond Fund is an exchange-traded fund incorporated in the USA. The Fund seeks results that correspond to the price and yield performance of a segment of the US investment grade corporate bond market as defined by the iBoxx $ Liquid Investment Grade Index. The Index measures the performance of a fixed number of investment grade corporate bonds.
  27. Whole Foods Market, Inc. (NASDAQ:WFM): Up 2.71% to $73.95. Whole Foods Market, Inc. owns and operates a chain of natural food supermarkets in the United States.   30. Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ALXN): Up 1.73% to $69.56. Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, researches and develops proprietary immunoregulatory compounds for the treatment of autoimmune and cardiovascular diseases.   31. W.W. Grainger, Inc. (NYSE:GWW): Up 1.91% to $170.85. W.W.   32. Nordstrom Inc. (NYSE:JWN): Up 2.29% to $52.77. Nordstrom, Inc. is a fashion retailer of apparel, shoes, and accessories for men, women, and children.   33. EQT Corporation (NYSE:EQT): Up 1.11% to $68.35. EQT Corporation is an integrated energy company with emphasis on Appalachian area natural-gas supply, transmission and distribution. The Company, through its subsidiaries, offer natural gas products to wholesale and retail customers.
  34. Ross Stores Inc. (NASDAQ:ROST): Up 0.72% to $87.84. Ross Stores, Inc. operates a national chain of off-price retail apparel stores. The stores offer brand-name apparel, apparel-related merchandise for the entire family, fragrances, gift items, and linens for the home.
