After Disney’s (NYSE:DIS) re-release of The Lion King in 3-D, the company has decided to re-release four more classic animated films in 3-D. The first of the four, Beauty and the Beast, will be released in theaters on January 13, 2012. Disney/Pixar’s Finding Nemo will return for a limited engagement on September 14, 2012, followed by Disney/Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. on January 18, 2013. Finally, The Little Mermaid will be released for the first time in 3-D on September 13, 2013.

Producers of Fox’s (NASDAQ:NWSA) The Simpsons have agreed to shoulder pay cuts in order to keep the show on the air. Earlier this week, 20th Century Fox said the show could not be sustained at its current cost. While no deal has yet been reached, the deal currently on the table would not affect the voice actors, who were earlier asked by Fox if they would accept a 45% pay cut.
