Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) estimates were reduced by UBS to reflect the weak PC environment, and the firm believes it is not probable that the Windows 8 launch will cause a meaningful spike in PC sales. Starbucks Corp. (NASDAQ:SBUX) is expected by Bernstein to be a key beneficiary of rapid growth in Asia Pacific’s demand for specialty coffee. The firm believes that the company’s EBIT will increase 27 percent annually over the next five years. The firm maintains an Outperform rating and a $60 target on the shares.
Brightcove (NASDAQ:BCOV): After a management call with Brightcove management, Raymond James stated that it would be an aggressive buyer of shares. The firm stated that the Zencoder acquisition should enable Brightcove to better serve the addressable online video market, and it opens up new opportunities with larger media companies. The firm thinks that the deal will assist in driving significant upside, and it keeps its Strong Buy rating on the stock.
Urban Outfitters Inc. (NASDAQ:URBN): After a review of Urban Outfitters’ 10Q, Oppenheimer thinks that the company’s comps are favorable. The firm names the company a top pick, and it keeps an Outperform rating and increased its target to $45 from $38 on the stock.
