Besides that, certain developers will receive a free subscription to Unity Pro, which goes for $1,500 in the store. After some persuasion by Bofa and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc., United States District Judge Reed O’Connor in Dallas has turned aside the majority of a lawsuit alleging that the companies “shortchanged” Texas counties out of uncollected mortgage filing fees. In making his ruling, O’Connor dismissed Dallas County’s claims of fraudulent misrepresentation, unjust enrichment, and conspiracy. However, the judge made no decision on a final claim, which was whether mortgage assignments have to be recorded, and said he would schedule a separate briefing schedule for that matter.
