Microsoft Says Windows 7 is BOOMING, Intel Chip Sales REVEALED
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): IDC believes that Android’s (NASDAQ:GOOG) smartphone’s share will reach its highest in 2012 at 61%, but it will drop to 52.9% in 2016. It also predicts that Windows Phone (NASDAQ:MSFT) (NYSE:NOK) will grow from 5.2% in 2012 to 19.2% in 2016, causing iPhone shares to fall from 20.5% to 19%, but making smartphone forecasts 4 years in advance is not easy. For instance, Android was barely known in 2008. IDC predicts that all mobile phone sales will rise 4% in 2012, and smartphone sales at 39%.

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT): During a keynote address at COMPUTEX today, it was announced by Steven Guggenheimer, Microsoft’s corporate vice president of the division of original equipment manufacturer, that Microsoft has sold more than 600M licenses for Windows 7.
Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC): Digitimes reports, Intel’s global chip sales shows a 3.4% increase this month, 24.1B, according to SIA.
