NBA Finals Winning Ratings for ABC

Game two of the NBA Finals was enthralling. Dirk Nowitzki went on a savage tear late in the fourth quarter, carrying the Dallas Mavericks on his shoulders from fifteen points down to come back and beat the Miami Heat on their home floor. The win for Dallas leveled the series at 1-1 as the teams prepare to head to Texas for the next three games. Ratings for the finals was money in the bank for ABC (NYSE:DIS), the network broadcasting the greatest show currently available on TV (you can argue, but that really isn’t subjective). Viewers were in accord, as ABC posted a mark of 10.5 overnight household ratings with the game.

Placing second in the ratings battle was Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance,” while CBS (NYSE:CBS) placed third, and NBC (NYSE:GE) came in at dead last with the premiere of its new show “Love Bites,” which apparently no one watched.
