Netflix Loses A&E, History Channel and 1 Morning Hot Stock Moving the Market

A tweet by retail analyst Howard Penney that says “hearing that $KR is selling K-cup “store brand” product at price points around $6.00″ ignites speculation that a price war in K-Cups could be in the offing if Kroger’s $6 offering is to be matched by rivals Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (NASDAQ:GMCR), Supervalu (NYSE:SVU), and Safeway (NYSE:SWY).

VoD firm Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) loses access to content from the A&E and History channels after their agreement lapsed last week. Though  discussions are in progress, popular content such as Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, Ice Road Truckers and Hoarders is off the air, according to reports.
