Netflix Shakes Up C-Suite Compensation

Reed Hastings’ Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) stock options for next year are down by half – $1.5 million vs. $3 million this year following a devastating 2011, but many of the company’s other executives can expect fat raises. CFO David Wells’ pay will go up 22.5 percent to $490,000 for 2012, with an additional $160,000 in options, and chief content officer Ted Sarandos ‘ salary will see a 10 percent increase to $1 million, plus $400,000 more in options.
