There has been a lot of buzz about Michael Wolff’s new book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House. The book, which gives an intimate look inside Donald Trump’s world, unloads a number of bombshells. Among them is the claim that Ivanka Trump has a surprisingly ambitious career plan.

Here’s the shocking truth Fire and Fury reveals about what job Ivanka Trump really wants.

Many people are talking about Michael Wolff’s book, which gives readers a behind-the-scenes view of Donald Trump and his life in the White House. The public is so thirsty to know more about the president that books are flying off the shelves. There’s so much interest in this scathing tell-all that the publisher, Henry Holt, is even rushing to print more copies, reports CNN.

 Things get personal

The most surprising revelations are about Ivanka Trump and about Donald Trump’s personal relationships. Wolff reveals details concerning Donald and Melania Trump’s relationship and Donald’s relationship with communications director Hope Hicks. Wolff also writes about an unusual conversation between Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner. (We’ll get to that in a minute.)

Donald Trump wasn’t too thrilled about the book. In fact, he was so furious he attempted to have the book banned from being published. CNN reports Trump’s personal attorney sent a cease-and-desist letter to Henry Holt and Michael Wolff, telling them not to release the book.

In response, the publisher decided to release Fire and Fury four days early. On the day excerpts were made available to the public, the revelation that Ivanka wanted to put her hat in the ring for this surprising job shocked many.

The book claims that Ivanka has an ambitious career goal. According to Wolff, Ivanka and Jared made a special agreement. “Between themselves, the two had made an earnest deal: If sometime in the future the opportunity arose, she’d be the one to run for president,” reports New York magazine. The book goes on to say that Ivanka likes the idea of possibly becoming the first female president. “The first woman president, Ivanka entertained, would not be Hillary Clinton; it would be Ivanka Trump,” writes Wolff.

Although the news of Ivanka Trump considering a presidential run might seem surprising, it might not be all that far-fetched. So, what are the chances of Ivanka winning if she decided to run in the 2020 presidential election? Website PaddyPower decided to crunch the numbers. According to the site, Ivanka has a 60:1 chance of winning if she decided to run in 2020. Mike Pence has a 3:1 chance.

And we can’t forget Oprah Winfrey. After her stirring speech at the Golden Globes, many are speculating she will also consider a presidential run. According to PaddyPower, if Oprah Winfrey decided to run for president in 2020, her odds would be 10:1.

Ivanka might have a lot of convincing to do

If Ivanka’s recent visit to a Connecticut school offers any indication of how her road to the presidency will be, it’s going to be a bumpy ride. Ivanka made a surprise visit to Norwalk Early College Academy at the end of 2017, but she wasn’t received very well, reports Salon. Some angry parents reacted by pulling their children out of school. It is reported some parents at the school don’t approve of the Trump family’s politics.

Ivanka has one person in her corner

Although not everyone is a fan of Ivanka Trump, she does have one person in her corner. In her memoir, Raising Trump, Ivana Trump (Ivanka’s mother) expressed her confidence in her daughter’s abilities. She wrote that she believed Ivanka would be ready to run for Oval Office in about 15 years. “Who knows? One day, she might be the first female — and Jewish — POTUS,” wrote Ivana.

Paving the way?

Some of Ivanka’s actions might give us a hint about her possible presidential run. One of the most obvious hints is the fact that she agreed to become her father’s adviser. For Ivanka, who has little political experience (before this she served on her father’s presidential campaign), this might be her way of gaining some experience before making a presidential bid. She has also written two books, The Trump Card and Women Who Work.

Some think Donald might win again

As far as the 2020 election is concerned, some are betting on another successful outcome for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Although there have been rumors about everyone from Mark Cuban to Joe Biden running for president in 2020, some seem to think Donald Trump will be re-elected. Writes Doug Sosnik in a column for the Chicago Tribune:

In 2016, Trump capitalized on this changing political environment. He consolidated the growing number of angry voters who felt let down by the people and institutions controlling power in the country. Trump’s support from these voters is personal, not ideological. That explains their willingness to stick with him despite his failures of leadership.
