Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX):Only a day after it broke into the Scandinavian market, Netflix added another country to its list, which is over fifty currently. Now, residents of Denmark are able to sign up for Netflix Instant. Yesterday, Netflix launched in Sweden, which makes it the first Nordic country to get the popular streaming service. In August, Netflix announced their Nordic expansion, saying claiming that they would enter Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland by year’s end.

Time Warner Cable Inc. (NYSE:TWC): Entropic (NASDAQ:ENTR) is rising after DA Davidson upgraded it to Buy from Neutral in a note to investors earlier in the day. According to the firm, Entropic could become the major SoC, or System on a Chip, supplier for boxes that Time Warner Cable wish to use to support a planned rollout of its all-digital service. DA Davidson believes that Technicolor will become a major supplier for the project, and the firm thinks that Technicolor’s DTA, or Digital Transport Adapters , integrate Entropic’s SoC solution. Time Warner Cable will start a pilot program of its all-digital offerings in Augusta, Maine, reports DA Davidson, who believes that the cable company has the ability to finish rolling out the product to all of its subscribers sooner than its five year target. The firm increased its price topic on Entropic to $7 from $6.50, and the stock gained 24c, or 4.36 percent, to $5.74 in mid-morning trading.

Walt Disney Co. Investors mounted a campaign to separate the chairman and CEO roles, which are both currently held by Murdoch, to increase accountability, Bloomberg reports. The global sugar glut extends into its third year, which is the longest stretch in over a decade, as Brazil and Australia expand output and imports contract to the smallest since 2008. Raw-sugar futures that are traded in New York could fall 9.9 percent to 18 cents a pound by the end of the year’s end, according to the median of 15 estimates from traders and analysts compiled by Bloomberg.
