Nuance Communication (NASDAQ:NUAN) is attempting to make a splash at this year’s CES. After creating software that powers Apple’s Siri, the company is now debuting Dragon TV, a voice recognition solution for smart sets such as Google TV (NASDAQ:GOOG). The shares closed at $27.38, up $0.8 or 3.01% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $15.56 to $26.97.

Monsanto Company (NYSE:MON) continues to hit new 52-week highs after impressing investors with solid earnings last week. The shares closed at $78.50, up $0.99 or 1.28% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $58.89 to $78.71.

Railroad operator Union Pacific Corp. (NYSE:UNP) has found a surge of new support as investors position for more economic recovery in 2012. The shares closed at $109.49, up $1.96 or 1.82% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $77.73 to $109.19.
